"Gummy Bear" Breast Implants

Considering breast augmentation? Dr. Stevens is one of only 15 surgeons in the United States authorized to implant the new Silimed Silicone Cohesive Gel Implants as a part of an FDA approved study.

These semi-solid gel implants, called Cohesive Gel Implants, feel softer and more natural than saline implants, and unlike saline implants, they will not wrinkle. The cohesive gel implants also differ from saline or standard silicone implants which leak when the implant shell is ruptured. Cutting into a cohesive gel implant is a little like cutting into a "gummy bear".

Participants in the study get paid to check in with Dr. Stevens periodically, but only 1,000 applicants will be selected. Call 800-7-NEW-YOU today to learn more.

Smack-dab In The Middle of Your Face

Your nose — right there in the middle of your face. And if you're unhappy with your nose, there is no hiding how you feel.

Each year hundreds of thousands of people around the US choose rhinoplasty to enhance the appearance or functionality of their noses. So many people inquire about rhinoplasty, in fact, that we have just launched a new site devoted entirely to this popular procedure.

According to Dr. Stoker, board certified plastic surgeon and nose surgery specialist, "Modern nasal surgery techniques focus on reshaping undesirable features of the nose while retaining those features that are attractive. These procedures may result in natural-appearing noses that enhance one's facial proportions."

Charlie Chats About ThermaCool

One reader's "Chat with Charlie" question will appear in next month's issue of Anti-Aging and Cosmetic Surgery Magazine. Here's a sneak peak for Beauty Bytes subscribers before the issue hits newsstands.

Dear Charlie:
What is your opinion on the new Thermage wrinkle tone treatment? How expensive is it?
Please share some secrets,
Sharon

Dear Sharon:
I am a huge fan of the Thermage ThermaCool non-surgical facelift! Here's to ‘Sharon’ a little secret with you... I have had this done and love it!

It works using radio frequency energy to gently heat the deep surface of the skin, causing it to contract and tighten. Results are expected to last about two years. ThermaCool can be used to lift the face, forehead and neck. It is an affordable option for patients, which is safe and requires less than an hour of your time. It’s important to keep in mind that results vary from patient to patient.

One must be a suitable candidate, as it is not a replacement for traditional face-lifts or neck-lifts. It is targeted to patients who have minor loosening of the skin, those who simply choose not to undergo surgery, or patients who have already had a face-lift or neck-lift and wish to maintain and refresh postoperative results.

Best of all, it’s non-surgical and therefore requires no recovery period or anesthesia – truly making it a "lunchtime facelift." And because it’s affordable, you'll still have time and money left over to dine before going back to work. Fees vary from office to office, but know that you'll be paying a fraction of the price of a surgical procedure. Another benefit is that it can be combined with other treatments, such as N-Lite, Photofacials or even BOTOX® Cosmetic; all non-ablative procedures that make you look younger, relaxed and more confident. Nothing is more attractive than confidence. And, since appearance is everything these days, now and ‘Zen’ we must take advantage of what medicine has to offer. Being "Cool" never looked so good. How cool is that?
