Eyelid Surgery Before & Afters Case #11022
Patient Details
This 44-year-old woman was tired of her wrinkles and how heavy her eyes looked. She wanted to make her eyes look brighter by getting rid of her droopy eyelids. Wanting to find an experienced facial plastic surgeon in Los Angeles to discuss her goals with, she made an appointment at the offices of Marina Plastic Surgery Associates with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons.
During her consultation, she and her surgeon discussed exactly what she wanted to change. They concluded that upper and lower eyelid surgery would alleviate her tired eyes by tightening the skin and muscles above her eyes and removing any fatty deposits which would make the eyes appear puffy or heavy. To deal with her wrinkles, her surgeon recommended that she have laser resurfacing on her entire face which removes the outer layers of the skin, revealing the fresh and healthy skin beneath.
The "after" photos were taken one year after surgery. As can be seen in these photos, her crow's feet and many of her smaller wrinkles have not returned a year after surgery. Her eyes still look younger and more open and her skin looks healthy. She was thrilled that she had her beautiful blue eyes back and that she had fewer wrinkles. Overall, she was very happy she had come to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates in Los Angeles for eyelid surgery and laser resurfacing.
