Eyelid Surgery Before & Afters Case #11382

This 56-year-old executive was neither angry nor tired, but felt that his aging eyelids made him look like he was. Wanting to soften his appearance and make his eyes look more alert, he began researching plastic surgery in L.A. to find out which surgery would be right for him. After some consideration he decided to schedule a consultation with one of the board-certified plastic surgeons at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to discuss eyelid surgery.
During his consultation, his surgeon examined his eyelids and recommended that he undergo upper-eyelid surgery to treat the sagging skin above his eyes. For this surgery, his surgeon would remove the excess skin and fatty deposits below his brows and if necessary, his surgeon would tighten the muscles below the surface to create a firmer, more youthful look. As an alternative to more traditional techniques, his surgeon would also use modern laser technology to perform the operation. With the laser, bleeding, swelling and bruising are reduced and the recovery is much faster.
When this patient's Los Angeles blepharoplasty was completed, his eyes looked gentler and more awake, as can be seen in his "after" photos. He was very pleased with the results and was glad that he no longer had to worry about looking angry.
