This 55-year-old woman came to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates interested in diminishing the lines around her mouth and lower face. Her surgeon recommended that she have 2 syringes of the injectable filler Perlane® injected to smooth the lines. Perlane is as popular in Los Angeles as Restylane®, its sibling product, and plumps up skin from within, so that facial features have youthful-looking smoothness and volume. For this patient, the fine lines around her mouth and in her lower face are noticeably reduced in the "after" photos. She was very pleased with the results.
