With distinct dark circles under her eyes, she was unhappy that no matter what she did to try and conceal them, they were always haunting her eyes. When she came to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates to meet with her surgeon, she explained to him her concerns and asked what options she had that didn't involve surgery. After examining the skin around her eyes, her surgeon explained that the dark circles were caused by the lack of volume in her under-eye skin. By injecting Restylane®, a popular injectable filler, he could add volume to the lower part of her eyes, thereby eliminating the dark circles. The filler works by using a naturally-occurring chemical in the human body, hyaluronic acid, which adds volume to the skin by reacting with the water in your skin. Her "after" photos were taken 3 months after her Los Angeles Restylane treatment to show the noticeable change in her appearance. Her eyes look alert now that the dark circles have been diminished, and she no longer looks constantly tired.
