A treatment with dermal fillers can begin with a topical anesthetic, if desired by the patient. The procedure is usually complete within 30 minutes. The filler is placed beneath the targeted areas with a few quick injections. In this woman's case, we used 2 syringes (2 cc) of Restylane. The "after" photo shows this patient's enhanced eye area.
