Patient Details
As a result of having children and entering menopause, this 50-year-old woman had developed an excessively thick midsection. She had extra skin and fat in her abdominal region, as well as thick thighs, knees and ankles. She and her surgeon at Marina Plastic Surgery in Los Angeles decided on a Mommy Makeover, including liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).
Liposuction was performed on her thighs, knees, ankles, tummy, hips and flanks. The tummy tuck thinned her abdomen and midsection.
The patient is extremely happy with her results, and her jeans fit much better now. She feels more comfortable wearing shirts that tuck in to show off her new body.
