Are Botox results permanent?

While Botox is not permanent, you can maintain results with repeat treatments, separated by at least three months.

Are Botox injections painful?

You should not feel more than a slight pinch. And, remember, your provider will put a numbing agent on your face prior to your injections.

Are there risks and side effects?

Yes, like any procedure, Botox comes with risks. In this case, risks include infection, bleeding, allergic reaction, and adverse reaction to anesthesia.

The most serious complication would stem from Botox spreading to unintended body areas. While extremely rare, such spreading would pose a medical emergency.
