Nonprofit Breast Oasis Offers Teens and Women in Need Free Bras
Marina del Rey, CA – June 24, 2016 — Marina Plastic Surgery is collecting new and gently worn bras of all sizes to donate to Breast Oasis, a nonprofit founded by John Pedersen, M.D. Breast Oasis is dedicated to supporting communities by providing teens and women who may not be able to afford them with clean, certified, gently used bras.
“There are thousands of women in our own community and across the country who have a tough time affording even basic essentials, such as bras,” said Charlie Sheridan, Practice Manager, Marina Plastic Surgery, Marina del Rey, CA. “Simply choose the clean, lightly used or new bras that you would like to donate, and bring it to the donation box at Marina Plastic Surgery. You don’t have to be a client of ours to donate.
“With all the awareness about breast surgery and breast size in our cosmetic practice, it’s a perfect and natural fit to collect these garments and donate them to Breast Oasis,” Charlie said. “We proudly display two collection stations all year long. We get the bras professionally cleaned and package them nicely, and we’ll even include a personal note for the recipient.”
